Traction and Ask

With €2,2M EIC Grant secured in 2022, Fimuskraft is now looking to raise €1,5M seed funding. The ideal investor would have expertise in cleantech and in process manufacturing in Europe. The investment is needed to:

  1. Validate its initial customers’ base and enter the Spanish and Finnish market.
  2. Reach 20 more customers and €21M net revenues by Q4/2027.
  3. Strengthen the team with 4 new hires in sales and/or 2 new hires in product development.

Founded in 2017 in Helsinki, Finland, Fimuskraft is poised to capture a significant share of the global biowaste market worth €500B (+10% CAGR/Year). 

Fimuskraft is monetizing mainly through B2B direct selling. Revenue growth is projected at 2x YoY (breakeven in Q2/2025), reaching €21M by Q4/2027. 

Fimuskraft team of 7 (4 full-time and 1 part-time co-founders and 2 full-time employees), with 2 previous exits, combines 60+ years expertise in multinational enterprises in the energy and process industry.

Round Details

At a €22M pre-money valuation, Fimuskraft aims to close this seed round by 31 December 2023. The minimum investment ticket size is €100k.

Fimuskraft has previously invested €250k of its own capital and raised €2,2M in grants from EIC to develop its MVP, which means that, after this investment round is secured, Fimuskraft is fully ready for international commercial uptake. Fimuskraft is seeking to exit in 5-7 years at a target valuation of €500M, 25x return of investment.
