At a Glance

WiseClean OÜ has developed a convenient, on-demand home cleaning platform to help  busy young professionals in maintaining a clean living environment.

Traction and Ask

With €10,500 net monthly revenues and 147 monthly cleanings in June 2023, WiseClean is now looking to raise €500K pre-seed funding. The ideal investor would have expertise in B2B products/marketplaces/gig-worker platforms in Baltics, Portugal and LatAm. The investment is needed to:

  1. Enter the Lithuanian (Vilnius) and Portuguese (Lisbon) markets;
  2. Achieve €100K in net monthly revenues and deliver 1600 monthly cleanings by Q3 2024;
  3. Strengthen the team through the recruitment of one growth lead.

Market, Business Model, Financials and Team

Founded in 2022 in Tallinn, Estonia, WiseClean is poised to capture a significant share of the global online home services market worth €4.31Bn (+19.3% CAGR/Year).

WiseClean primarily generates revenue through a business model similar to Uber, by collecting a 25-30% commission from every cleaning service performed by independent contractors (cleaners). Revenue growth is projected at 30% MoM, reaching €1M by Q4 2025.

WiseClean team of 1 full-time and 1 part-time co-founders and 2 part-time employees, with one previous exit, combines 70+ years of commercial, software development and people management expertise.

Competitive Advantage

Key USPs versus competitors like Freska and HappyHelper are: advanced platform architecture with minimal legacy, robust unit economics, and effective system for preventing platform leakage.

Round Details

At a €2,5M post-money valuation, WiseClean aims to close this pre-seed round by 15 September 2023. Some minority investors have already committed to join with €29.6K (€9.6K already closed). The minimum investment ticket size is €15K.

WiseClean has previously invested €15K of its own capital and raised €25K in SAFE from private investors like Mihhail Jassinover to develop its MVP, which means that, after this investment round is secured, WiseClean is fully ready for international commercial uptake. WiseClean is seeking to exit in 3 years at a target valuation of €50M (20x return of investment).
