With €40k net revenues in 2022 and a €1M pre-money valuation, Wrapice is looking to raise €250k pre-seed funding and gain valuable gaming expertise from investors. The investment is needed to:
- Validate its Icebreaker Snow gaming series and move to a fully marketable product.
- Reach 1M downloads in North America, Nordic Europe, Russia and €150k ARR by Q4 2023.
- Strengthen the team with 1 new hire in business development and beef up international sales.
In a global mobile gaming market worth $97,8 Billion (2021) (+11,8% CAGR / year), Wrapice was founded in 2011 in Espoo, Finland. Wrapice is monetizing mainly through in-app purchases, ads and cross-media sales to B2B and B2C customers. Revenue growth is projected at 3-6X YoY, reaching €100M by Q4 2028. Wrapice team of 5 (1 full-time founder and 4 freelancers) combines several decades of commercial, marine science and gaming expertise.
Key USP versus competitors like Kahoot, Rovio and Mightier is that Icebreaker Snow is the only gaming series in the world focussed on raising environmental awareness in the arctic region.
Wrapice has already invested €1M themselves, raised €100k private capital and €50k public grants to develop their gaming series, animation and cross-media. This means that, after this investment round is secured, Wrapice is fully ready for international commercial uptake.
We aim to close this pre-seed round by 1 April 2023 with €20k minimum investment ticket size.
