Eurostars is a European funding program tailored specifically for SMEs and midcap companies (with a turnover below €300 million). While it primarily supports smaller enterprises, research institutes and large companies are also welcome to participate.
Projects can focus on any development activity—giving you the flexibility to innovate in your core area.
Key Eligibility and Funding Details:
- The project must include at least two organizations from two different EU or partner countries.
- Funding rates:
- 50% for Finnish SMEs
- 40% for Finnish midcap companies
- The success rate is around 25%.
- Applications are typically accepted twice a year, in March and September. The next application deadline is September 4, 2025.
